WWII Victory Museum

Several of our "gang of riders" are history buffs so we like to ride to museums. One museum we rode to last year was the WWII Victory Museum just south-west of Auburn. They have a great display of vehicles, uniforms, and weapons used in WWII. To get to the museum, get off Interstate 69 on County Road 11A west. It's across the Interstate from Kruse Auctions.

Hello Over-the-hill gang,
I'm an over-the-hill lady also a WWII buff. In fact, I wrote a WWII book called Pocket of Guilt by Dora Lee Thompson. You might be interested in reading it. It is a story about German teens who save themselves and their families from starvation following the war. It is based loosely on the life of a friend who lived in Mannheim, Germany during the war.
The book can be ordered from my web site. www.doraleethompson.com. The web site is a resource site about what happened in the U.S. during the war. It has information on various topics such as the governments secret list, illegal surveillance, and human radiation experiments, some things the government did that are not well-known.
Best wishes and safe traveling on your bikes. I admire what you are doing.
Sincerely,
Dora Lee Thompson
